Women’s clothing retailer Haus of Plenty has opened its first UK shop in London.
The shop, in Camden Street, is the first to be set up in the UK in nearly three decades, following a year of expansion at the flagship store in London’s Hyde Park.
Haus, which started out in Australia, said it wanted to create a “safe space” for women in a world where they are not as well represented as they are in the fashion industry.
Husbands and wives were also welcome at the store, which will feature “women-centric” design, Haus said in a statement.
The first store opened in the US in 2008, and opened in Japan in 2011.
The US store has now opened in six other countries.
